What We Can Do For You
With Hypnotism
Hypnotism
is not a 'magic wand' that can simply wave away problems. Hypnotism
is a tool to assist you to be the best person you can be, with our
guidance. The purpose of your
hypnotist is to guide you into a relaxed state of heightened
awareness, where your 'inner', or subconsious mind comes to the
forefront, and your 'everyday' or conscious mind, temporarily takes
a back seat. With your conscious mind
taking a rest for a time, your subconscious mind, which is your
knowledge storehouse, is open to new ideas and
learning.

Information
Our fees are
£55 per hour, subject to change. This fee includes 1 free
consultation session, plus a recording of any or all sessions for
future reference. The consultation involves the assessment of the
problem you, as a client present to us. It will also be the time to
assess your susceptibility to hypnosis, and we will dispel the myths
about hypnosis, most of which are Untrue...Remember you are in
control at all times.
There is no way we are going to
mystically invade your mind and take it over. Why would we need to?
Hypnosis uses the power of your own inner mind to assist you in
recognition of your problems and help you mentally to evaluate and
solve them. Hypnosis has been said to be the 'art of boring the
bored'. That being said, the hypnotist induces a state of relaxed
pinpoint concentration, in which the subconscious mind takes over
the mental driver's seat.
There are various methods to
induce this state. It may take some time as no individual responds
the same to any type of induction. For example, some people respond
to voice alone, some to colours, some to sounds, others to soothing
music. This will be assessed during the first consultation. (We do
not use swinging watches, unless you want us to!) After induction,
the hypnotic state allows you to examine, and deduce things you are
not aware of in your 'Conscious go to work' state, and on reflection
deep inside your subconscious you will find a sort of "light at the end of the tunnel"; here we, as hypnotists, can work to help you.
We tap into your subconscious, and use it to redirect your mind to resolve your issues. How hypnosis works no-one is
sure, but that it works has been medically proved. We are not
licensed physicians or other health care specialists, and may not
provide a medical diagnosis or recommend discontinuance of medically
prescribed treatments. If a client desires a diagnosis or any other
type of treatment from a different practitioner, the client may seek
such services at anytime.
In the event our services are
terminated by a client, the client has a right to coordinated
transfer of services to another practitioner, if desired. A client has a right
to refuse our services at any time. A client has a right to be free
of physical, verbal or sexual abuse. A client has a right to know
the expected duration of sessions, and may assert any right without retaliation.
Hypnosis is not designed to be, or meant to be, an extended form of therapy. As hypnotists we aim to help you in as
little amount of time as is feasible. The recordings of sessions are
designed to remind you of what was done, and reinforce the
therapeutic suggestions made, and you can use these after your
sessions have ended without returning to us for the same problem.
Each issue is treated on an individual basis. We will only attempt to alleviate a single problem at any one time. Nor does hypnosis
work for everyone as completely as it might.
We will not
treat minors without parental or legal custodians consent. When
consent is given, a duly appointed witness must attend said minors
to and from the consultations. We will not treat patients for
certain conditions without the consent/referral of Doctors, dieticians, or
other medical workers. This is for your own protection and benefit.
